Fellowship Trained Hip & Knee
Reconstruction Specialist

Where cutting-edge technology meets compassionate care.

Dr. Luu is a fellowship-trained hip and knee replacement specialist and the Director of Orthopedics and Total Joint Replacement Surgery at PIH Health. He was drawn to this field for a simple but powerful reason: few specialties offer the ability to so dramatically and immediately transform a patient's quality of life. For Dr. Luu, every surgery is a chance to help someone move better, live fuller, and feel like themselves again.

Dr. Luu is at the forefront of modern joint replacement, offering robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements, minimally invasive procedures including the direct anterior total hip replacement, and partial knee replacements.

His practice is equipped with some of the most advanced technology in orthopedic surgery today - including ROSA® Robotics for precision-guided procedures, OrthoGrid® HipAI for intelligent alignment, Persona IQ® (the world's first and only smart implant), and MyMobility®, a platform that keeps patients seamlessly connected to their care team throughout recovery.

Beyond joint replacements, Dr. Luu is a trusted expert in complex adult reconstructions, including revision surgery for previously failed hip and knee replacements - cases that demand both exceptional skill and deep experience.

Recognized as one of Los Angeles' Top Doctors, Dr. Luu has also been featured in several articles within PIH Health's Healthy Living magazine.
